I know that it’s been three weeks since the last chapter update and I know that I left you all on the edge of a cliff, but I promise that chapter 29 will be up by the end of the week. I’m sorry, but I’ve been home for four days and I’ve slept for 75% of the time. I’m seriously exhausted, but I feel better now and will get back to work on Hello Brooklyn!
But thank you for being so patient with me!!!!

I’ve picked up a lot of new followers in the last couple of days :)
I finished my last last final this morning. SCHOOL IS OVER!!!! I’m halfway through college! Wheeeeeee!!! You guys don’t realize how fucking tired I am right now. I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life. And I have a seven hour drive to look forward to tomorrow! Yay!!
Okay but all that to say that I will do my best to get 29 done by Tuesday. And chapter 30 will be up shortly after that because I just want Hello Brooklyn to be finished!

Chapter 29 isn’t going to be done this week. I have four finals to study for and I haven’t even started packing my room up. I leave for New York on May 23, the story will be done by then.

I know it’s not much, but this is what I have so far. I don’t know when the rest will be done. Everyone leaving a message in my inbox everyday isn’t going to make it happen any faster. Just saying.
December 28th
The alarm had gone off 45 minutes ago but I continued to push the snooze button. There was a lot to get done that day but I had no will to get out of bed. There was a knock on my bedroom door. “Come in,” I said and Rian entered the room.
“I brought you some coffee,” he set my favorite mug on the nightstand. I sat up and he sat on the edge of the bed beside me. “How are you feeling?” he asked.
“Shitty…” I mumbled and took a sip of the coffee. Rian stared at the wall. Everything about the scene reminded me of the afternoon I called Sadie and she told me about the accident. I felt sick to my stomach but I continued to drink the coffee. I couldn’t function throughout the day if I didn’t have it.
“Why don’t you come downstairs and eat some breakfast before we leave?” Rian’s eyes were desperate for me to agree, but I had no appetite. I was tempted to pull the covers over my head and go back to sleep, but I followed him to the kitchen.
“You want pancakes?” he asked.
“Sure.” I shrugged and finished the rest of my coffee. Rian pulled the box of whole-wheat batter out of the cabinet. I never used to care about whole grains or vitamins, but healthy food reminded me of Brooke and I was holding onto every little thing I had left of her.
Anonymous asked: when will the next chapter be done????? i'm dying!
I know, I know. I’m sorry, but it’s the last week of class and I’ve got finals next week. I don’t have much time to do anything but homework and study. I’ll post what I’ve got, though.
